What fun we had in 2023!
The annual Perkins Cove Halloween Celebration is a wickedly good time for children and adults alike. Each year costumed revelers descend on The Cove for trick or treating, costume contests, and family fun activities including a costume parade and contest, trick or treating throughout Perkins Cove, face painting and more on Saturday, October 21st, 2023. The spooky fun is part of the annual OgunquitFest celebration, held October 20th-22nd. Gather the family or some friends and kick off Halloween a little early in Perkins Cove, Ogunquit, Maine.
Parking: There are 3 parking lots at the entrance to, and in, Perkins Cove. Find them here.
10am: Meet at Oarweed Restaurant parking lot (no parking here allowed, please) - 65 Perkins Cove Rd.
10:30am: A Costume Contest - Oarweed Restaurant parking lot.
This is where we start the Halloween Parade.
Then 'Trick or Treat' until 11:30am - throughout Perkins Cove
11:30-1pm: Face Painting, Rock Painting, Fun Tattoos

Come celebrate with dance and music, during Ogunquit's Octoberfest. Join us at Rotary Park in Perkins Cove, Sunday, October 22nd from 12pm - 2pm and enjoy Octoberfest German Band!
Seasonally Perkins Cove comes alive with fund and diverse bands, solo acts and singer songwriters. Learn more:

The annual Ogunquit Perkins Cove Plein Air Event is a painting festival celebrating the rich and artful history of Perkins Cove and Ogunquit Maine. attended by more than 400 visitors to Perkins Cove, The Marginal Way, Ogunquit and Ogunquit Beach.
9am-3pm: Enjoy the Plein Air painters as they paint along The Marginal Way, in Ogunquit, and in Perkins Cove.
3:30pm-5pm: Judging, Awards, and Wet Paint Sale.
All Day: Live Music, Art Demonstrations, and more!
About the 2023 Ogunquit Perkins Cove Plein Air Event
Plein Air painting in (and around) Perkins Cove is a time-honored Ogunquit Art Colony tradition. And on Sept. 10th Ogunquit will be brimming with artists and art-lovers whether to paint or to watch for Ogunquit’s 3rd Annual Perkins Cove Plein Air Painting Event.
Plan to attend to enjoy the timeless sight of plein air painters as they commit brush to canvas in (and around) Perkins Cove — the heart of the Ogunquit Art Colony — beginning at 9am. Then in the afternoon, the judging in Perkins Cove for Professional and Amateur awards PLUS the David Lussier Gallery of Excellence Amateur Award.
Perkins Cove will also be the site of a Wet Paint Sale where you’ll have the chance to purchase a one of a kind piece from the “beautiful place by sea” that you’ll cherish forever even before the paint is even fully dry!
